Nansuagao is a barangay in the municipality of Caoayan, in the province of Ilocos Sur.

Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 770. This represented 3.88% of the total

population of Caoayan.

The population of Nansuagao grew from 396 in 1990 to 770 in 2015, an increase of 374

people. The latest census figures in 2015 denote a positive growth rate of 2.83%, or an increase

of 105 people, from the previous population of 665 in 2010.

Moreover, Nansuagao is situated at approximately 17.5401, 120.4022, in the island of

Luzon. Elevation at these coordinates is estimated at 4.6 meters or 15.1 feet above mean sea

level. Nansuagao shares a common border with the following barangay(s): Naguilian, Caoayan,

Ilocos Sur ; Pantay Tamurong, Caoayan, Ilocos Sur; Don Dimas Querubin (Poblacion), Caoayan,

Ilocos Sur; Don Lorenzo Querudin (Poblacion), Caoayan, Ilocos Sur; Villamar, Caoayan , Ilocos

Sur; Anonang, Menor, Caoayan, Ilocos Sur.
