GWEN A NNE AG ORIL L A

DESIDERATA
First,
Remind yourself that the entire
journey is not a race, but a marathon.
It is important to finish it entirely
than to risk failing by sprinting.
Remember: even in the chaos of
things, there is room to breathe deep
and keep living.
Second,
Nurture your ability to
appreciate your triumphs
regardless of how small they
may be in comparison to
others’. You can still be who
you are meant to be without
meeting everyone’s expectation
of you. What matters is
meeting what you expect of
yourself.
Third,
Always present yourself in the best
way you can. Not with fancy clothes
or arrogance but with an open and
trusting personality. This way you can
reach greater heights.

DESIDERATA
FOURTH
And through it all you
are allowed to change.
Continuously strive to
become a better
version of yourself
every day, and flourish
from your mistakes.
What you will become
is far better than what
you are now.
Fifth,
Be sincere in all
relationships that
are to bloom.
There would be
some who are not
permanent and
there are more
who would give
you pain but your
sincerity will help
you deal with
adversity.
Sixth,
Listen to what your
seniors have to say.
Their counsel and
advice will not only
help you in your tasks
but prepare you for
the whole experience
altogether.
SEVENTH
Practice gratitude. Be thankful
for your progress, for your
freedom to choose your path
and for your ability to take
the bad with the good. Give
thanks for the Lord’s endless
grace and the chance to be
alive another day.
EIGHT
Avoid dwelling on tiny errors.

Beginning your journey in itself is a

great feat, so learn to move forward
without stressing too much on things
that will eventually not matter. Put
things into perspective and stress
smartly.
Ninth,
Treat everyone with respect.
From your colleagues, to your
future patients, be respectful
and recognize that they too
are children of God.
Tenth,

Trust in the will of God. No

matter how things turn out,
remember that God is always
on the lookout and
everything is already
resolved. Rather than praying
for something that you want,
pray for your acceptance of
what God has in store for
you.
