Workplace Decorum
Employee Code________________
Punctuality:
One of the basic rule of any organization is to be Punctual. We should always try to
stick to office timings. Late coming by 10 minutes is allowed only 2 times a month, with
justification.
Personal Phones:
Use of personal phones is strictly prohibited in the office hours. Keep your phones
muted or on silent, so that every time you get a call or message it does not alert
everyone on your floor.
Use of Intercom:
Intercom Extensions are provided on each desk. Use of intercom is mandatory for every
employee to communicate with anyone one including management and colleagues.
Indiscreet chattering will not be tolerated at any cost.
Reporting:
Everybody should plan the day before 9:45am and send to reporting channel whichever
decided by the management and complete all the important tasks before leaving the
desk. End of day report is mandatory and must send before leaving the office.

Keep noise and distractions to a minimum:
Once we are in office we should tone down our pitch and we should speak in a very
polite way so that it does not disturb other coworkers. Noisy conversations (either
between workers or on the telephone) or habits such as tapping on the desk, fidgeting
or getting up and down often can create an annoying distraction to those trying to
concentrate. If you’re in a meeting, give your undivided attention to the person
speaking. If you must attend a call or check something on your phone or computer,
keep it short and sweet.
Dress Code:
We must wear formal corporate clothing in office. We should always dress properly. If
we lack concern towards our dressing then that can be interpreted as disrespect for
colleagues and clients.
Note: Appropriate dress code may be announced anytime by the management as per
Company Policy. You must abide by the company policies as announced time to time.
Lunch:
While eating lunch away from our desks is a luxury these days, remember those sitting
around you. Try to avoid foods that splatter or slurp or have a lingering smell in a
shared office space. We can have our lunch in the batches of two persons on their own
desks in the lunch time. Do not create the chaos while having lunch.
Be tidy:
Be considerate:
Respect is the key when working in an open-office environment. Act respectful and
expect others to act in the same way. Set rules of conduct and reiterate boundaries
when they are crossed. It’s best to address problems and concerns directly and
diplomatically before they escalate.

Be Tolerant:
The open-office environment brings together myriad personalities, with different styles.
Be tolerant of these differences and find ways to adapt. Everyone is not going to agree
with you one hundred percent of the time. Keep an open mind, listen with the intent to
learn and focus on the positive aspects of your job.
In order to maintain a cohesive team, do not spread gossip, cause another to feel like
an outcast, or grumble about petty things. Hold regular meetings to set goals, share
ideas and talk about concerns.
Just because others are sitting nearby doesn’t mean they are available for conversation
at all times. Respect one another’s privacy. Act as if there is a door between you and if
they appear to be busy, ask if they have a moment to talk.
Below are the duties and responsibilities of the team as decided by the
management.
