 Thesis Proposal: A Vertical Farming Community for the Residents of Taytay

Activities

Residential Space

This is where the users are accommodate and living in a comfortable state. It is functional 24/7.

 Bedrooms

Vertical Farm

This is where the users produce their crops that is grown through hydroponics method.
The vertical will allot time to grow the plants using natural light in the day and artificial light in
the night so the allotted time for the activity is 24/7.

 Hydroponics Farm
 A place where people can hangout do their hobbies etc. It will be functional for 24/7

Marketing facility

An activity that will be function for working hours only, which is 8hrs a day.
 Economic Avenue- This area is where the users can highlight the crops that they
produce from their vertical farm. A market has only 12-15 hrs to operate a day.

Open park and recreation space

An area that operates for 24 hrs. This area is for the recreation activities.

 Playground
 Open space for hanging out

Multi-purpose hall

An area where the education of the vertical farm will be held such as workshops and
seminars. The allotted time for this area and activity is not yet determine since this
area is for seminars and workshop that is yet known how many hours will be held.
