ARPPIS-DAAD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

To whom it may concern

RECOMMENDATION FOR TABITHA WAMBUI KIBUTHU’S APPLICATION FOR

ARPPIS-DAAD SCHOLARSHIP

I am pleased to provide reference for Tabitha Wambui Kibuthu’s application for the ARPPIS-DAAD
Scholarship Programme. I taught and supervised Tabitha when she undertook MSc course in Parasitology
and Entomology under the KEMRI-JKUAT postgraduate programme. During the period, she
demonstrated diligence and commitment, and was able to work with minimum supervision. The academic
qualification and research experience that Tabitha acquired make her a suitable candidate for the
ARPPIS-DAAD Scholarship Programme. Importantly, the scholarship will enable her to develop her
future career as a researcher in medical entomology which is her area of interest.

Tabitha can communicate effectively in spoken and written English. She is also respectful and a good
team player. I am therefore highly supportive of her application.

Please do not hesitate to contact me in case you need any other information.

Yours sincerely,

Prof. Sammy Njenga, PhD
