FONT
The American Psychological
Association (APA) recommends the
use of Times New Roman

SIZE
Times New Roman 12 pt. font, no use
of bold, italics, underlining, or
abnormal font size.

ABBREVIATIONS
Abbreviations should be limited when:
a) the abbreviation is standard and will not
interfere with the reader’s understanding
b) if space and repetition can be greatly
avoided through abbreviation.

STYLE
The text should be typed and double-
spaced on standard-sized paper (8.5" x
11"), with 1" margins on all sides.  Include
a page header (also known as the
“running head”) at the top of every page.
