This summer, Food & Water Watch launched a new FALL 2020 UPDATE volunteer program in cities across the country. In FL, our team of volunteers are pushing the City of Tampa and Hillsborough County to transition to 100% renewable energy by 2030. And they’re educating their neighbors on the need for climate action by writing letters to the editor of the Tampa order mandating and enforcing strong COVID-19 Bay Times. They’ve also been networking to get out protections for Maryland’s farm, seafood, and the vote and highlight where candidates stand on poultry workers.
