ABSTRACT

Customer satisfaction is one the most common and


important aspects in any organization. Due to market
competition and availability of businesses, an organization
needs to focus on the degree to which a customer is
satisfied with its products and/or services of the
organization.

The purpose of this research project was to explore


what strategies are essential for business owner to improve
some aspects of workplace performance for the satisfaction
of their customers.

CHAPTER I

INTRODUCTION

In business world, you need to sacrifice a lot of time,


money, effort, and patience to achieve a successful business
in all kind of business there’s a lot of competitors and you
need to prepare in the results.

The aims of the Abesamis Street are to achieve the


satisfaction of the customers by providing good and fast
service, affordability of the price, cleanliness, safety and
security of the location.

One of the secret why business succeed is through


marketing strategy, also it is important to know what the
customers wants and needs that will satisfy them.
BACKGROUND OF THE BUSINESS

The history of Abesamis Street was started on the


story of Ms. Lorraine Abesamis and Her cousin Ms. Michelle
Abesamis-Torres. They decided to start a business on July
02, 2017 which is called “kambingan”. Then capital of the
said business came from the both of them, but, since Ms.
Michelle working at the BIR she can’t give her effort and
time to their business that’s why she decided to give the
whole business to Ms. Lorraine who is very dedicated and
giving her full support to their business.

But, they’ve come to that situation that they have a


hard times looking for goat which is the main ingredients of
their recipe so their business “kambingan” are getting low.
Being a business woman, Ms. Lorraine Abesamis decided to let
go their “kambingan” and turn it into a restaurant called
“Abesmis Street” started on January 12, 2018 their products
and services were accepted by the public that generates
income to their business. Her inspiration was her family
because most of the member of her family knows how to cook.
As the times pass Abesamis Street became well known and
spreads to many customers and became addicted to the foods
the business offers.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
HYPOTHESIS

These studies aim to improve the following hypothesis.

NULL HYPOTHESIS

1. The expansion of the place in the business can’t affect


the customer satisfaction and retention.

2. The absence of comfort room can’t affect the customer


satisfaction and retention.

ALTERNATIVE HYPOTHESIS

1. The expansion of the place in the business can affect


the customer satisfaction and retention.

2. The absence of comfort room can affect the customer


satisfaction and retention.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY


The outcome of the study on the “effectiveness of
marketing Strategies of Abesamis Street in Peñaranda, Nueva
Ecija” will serve as source and additional data to the
following.

Researchers. This study gave them a chance to comply in


their course requirements and give them the opportunity to
experience doing marketing strategies. It also gave them an
opportunity to have more knowledge about the importance of
business in the up going society.

Future Researchers. This study may serve as their


references to the future study that they are going to
conduct mainly in Abesamis Street.

Academic Community. This study can be an additional


contribution to the collection of studies in the University
Library at Peñaranda Off-Campus Program that can be used as
reference or guide for the future researchers.

Business Entrepreneurs/Marketers. this study will give


them more information how to handle a business to satisfy
customers considering it as a marketing strategy that will
suite on their business.

Future Marketers. this may be their guide to the proper


marketing strategy when they engage in business.

SCOPE AND LIMITATION


This study was limited to the assessment of Abesamis
Street data gathering by the researchers were from the
survey questionnaires to the owner of the business.

The main goal of the study is to figure out the


effectiveness of marketing strategies of abesamis street to
satisfy and retain more customers.

CHAPTER III
METHODOLOGY

This chapter presents the method of Research used, the tools


applied, the Practices and the process used in gathering the
data and formula used in analyzing collected information.

INSTRUMENTS OF GATHERING DATA

A questionnaire was chosen as data collection instrument.


Data was collected through the questionnaire to figure out
“the Effectiveness of Marketing Strategies of Abesamis
Street” to satisfy and retain customers.

The Questionnaires consisted of (1) How much satisfied


the customers in there foods and services. (2) How much
customers like their foods and services (3) are question
about the customer’s identity.

LOCATION OF THE STTUDY


The study was conducted in Abesamis Street, Peñaranda,
Nueva Ecija. Abesamis Street is one of the most restaurant
that are being adored by many customers. Although, there are
many restaurant in Peñaranda where customers may dine and
it’s serves as their competitors but many customers still
chose Abesamis Street over the others.
