THE STORY OF OUR FRIENDSHIP.

Hi everybody!

My name is Alex, I’m from Turkey and living in Istanbul.

Initially, I want to talk about the neighborhood where I live. it's the best place to live i'm
sure of it.
The Beşiktaş neighborhood is one of the most important neighborhoods in the city of
Istanbul. It is located in the European part, near Taksim square and also Ortaköy. Beşiktaş
is one of the liveliest places in all of Istanbul, its streets, always busy, are full of bars,
coffees and shops. In Beşiktaş it is possible to visit some of the most emblematic places of
Istanbul. In this neighborhood you will find the Dolmabahçe Palace, the Çırağan Palace, the
Naval Museum or the stadium of the BJK football team.

Some of the reasons why being a pen pal is a good experience are:
- Promote patience.
- Encourage an interest in social studies.
- Supports the development of social skills.

My great pen pal and I have some tips to keep in touch. Some of them are: talking on video
call,playing video games online and we send each other gifts. I consider that our English
has improved, since we have learned new vocabulary through
some activities that we do together, for example: we listen and sing music in English, we
enter English conversation clubs and we play video games in English.

Since I don't know England and it is a dream for me to do. England, the birthplace of
Shakespeare and The Beatles, is a country in the British Isles bordering Scotland and
Wales. I would like to win this challenge together with my pen pal. About this country I
would like to know the stadium of the Manchester United soccer team, I would also like to
take a photo in Big Ben. Also there I could improve my English. Also y would like to know
more of its culture and customes.
