Electrical Circuits Lab

Experiment 01: Introduction to circuit lab

Introduction:
This experiment was an introduction of the lab, in this experiment we learned many
things, we knew about the equipment’s of this lab, and we learned the method of its
choice and the way of measuring this equipment’s.

Objectives:
To learn about the equipment’s in the lab and how to use them properly.

Instruments Used:

- Multimeter.
- Breadboard.
- DC Power Supply.
- Resistors.
- LT spice Software.

Procedure:

- Connect the given resistors using the Breadboard with given values R1=3.6, R2=1.0,
V=7.0 volt in a simple series circuit.
- use the ammeter and voltmeter to increase the values of R1, R2, I.
-Compare your results to the one you got while using a simulation software.

Data collection:

Table 1: Practical and simulated results

R1 R2 V1 V2 I
simulated 3.6 ohm 1 ohm 5.5 volt 1.5 volt 1.5 amber
measured 3.58 ohm 0.98 ohm 5.47 volt 1.53 volt 1.52
amber
Discussion
At first we brought the equipment, then we connected the resistors with each other,
then we measured the difference of voltage and current across the circuit, then we
found that the results are identical to the results when we have solved in the traditional
way.

Conclusion:
This experiment learned us how to apply ohm law and build a resistive circuit.
