Dear Parents

Hope you & everyone in the family are well. I pray that this time should
pass soon and that we only emerge stronger from this lesson that
almighty is testing us today with!

I am sure that my children have utilised this time to explore the house
& have learnt something new like washing their own utensils, making
their beds, mopping, brooming the room and watering the plants in this
summer weather. Children must be busy reading their new books. While
enjoying what life is offering us, my kids must be rejoicing doing the
holidays’ homework.

We thankyou wholeheartedly for your constant support and

encouraging feedback for the enriching and meaningful remote
teaching and learning experience which has provided access to a
greater depth and breadth of resources to staff and students alike.
We are extremely proud of our young students who quickly adapted to
the need of the hour, showing such resilience.

It is also heartening to share that even in these lockdown days, the

Adarshians proved their mettle by winning laurels at various Inter
School competitions conducted virtually by K.R.Mangalam, Ved Vyas
DAV Model & DAV Centenary School to name a few. Besides this
various Online competitions were conducted in which students
participated enthusiastically. Hats off to our steadfast teaching
faculty who are delivering their best even in these tough times.
Kindly note that the school office is open for any query on all working
days from 9am to 1pm.

We are now back after completing the mandatory CBSE Workshops on

various topics and the CBSE Board Exam paper checking which
started from 11th May as soon as the school closed for Summer
Vacation as per the Delhi Government guidelines.
We have also ensured a better medium of instruction during the
remaining period until schools open, thus the school has signed up with
Microsoft India with Office 365 & Teams for taking virtual classes
from Monday, 15th June 2020.

The school timings for all the classes will be as follows:

Pre School & Pre Primary (9am to 12noon); Classes I & V (9am to 1pm);
Classes VI to XII (9am to 2pm). The classes will be held from Monday
to Friday with adequate breaks and activity periods.

The above time schedule has been framed keeping in mind the age
levels and the curriculum that needs to be covered before we take up
the formal assessment of your ward. Your cooperation and
understanding will go a long way in maintaining qualitative standards in
all future endeavours being initiated at our end so that the teachers
can disseminate their lectures in a fruitful manner.

You may download MS Teams from the app / play store and go through
videos of the same on YouTube for better understanding. The
customised Username & Password will be shared with you shortly.
Recapitulation of the previous lessons will be taken up along with the
doubts of the students as the classes resume.

Although the school is all geared up to put in place all safety protocols
for Covid-19 and we await to hear more about when students will finally
be able to attend school as per the orders of the Govt. of NCT, Delhi
but looking into the current scenario and the utmost safety of the
students; the need of the hour is to get used to the “New Normal” i.e.
The Virtual Classrooms which are here to stay.
