     New Tourism Policy

    Government Measures:

     State has vast tourism potential and efforts were on further development of places suited for
    Adventure tourism, River tourism, Beach tourism, Eco tourism, Temple tourism.

     Encouragement of private investments: Tenders will be called soon to develop 12 tourist


    attractions in all the 13 districts under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode.”Invited pvt players to
    set up 5, 7 star hotels.

     Temple development under PRASAD SCHEME (Pilgrimage rejuvenation and Spiritual


    Augmentation Drive). Ex - Simhachalam temple selected for 53 cr worth works

     Trade registration with tourism department: Under this hoteliers, tour operators, lodges furnish
    details, facilities they are offering with tariffs. This allows tourists to have prior information about their
    travel, boarding, and lodging. This ensures quality services to tourists.

     Developing district wise tourism circuits, popularizing local cultures. Ex: Etikoppaka, Lambasingi,
    Araku.
