SPECIFICATIONS

DIVISION 1.0 GENERAL CONDITIONS

1.1 SCOPE OF WORK

The work to be performed under this contract consists of the furnishing of all materials, labor and
equipment, transportation and other facilities necessary to complete the project in accordance with these
Specifications and Contract Drawings.

1.2 PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS

It shall be the duty of the Contractor to carefully examine, compare and verify the data furnished by the
Plans and Specifications. In case of obscurity or discrepancy, the contractor shall submit the matter to the
Architect or his authorized representative for the proper explanation or necessary corrections, before any
adjustment shall be made.

1.3 MATERIALS

Unless otherwise specified, all materials shall be new. The quality of the materials shall be the best grade
of their respective kinds for the purpose. The work shall be performed in the best and most acceptable
manner in strict accordance with the requirements on the Plans and Specifications.

1.4 INSPECTION OF WORK

The Owner shall, at all times have access to the work whenever it is in preparation or progress and the
Contractor shall provide facilities for such access for inspection.

DIVISION 2.0 SITE WORK

2.1 LAYING OF WORK

Lay all work to true line and grades, establish staking fully.

2.2 EXCAVATION AND FILLING

Extent the elevation of excavation as shown on Drawings, extra care to protect adjoining properties and
utility lines.

2.3 FILL MATERIALS

Of approved materials placed in layers not exceeding 200mm each in thickness, compacted to % 90
standard density at optimum moisture.

2.4 SOIL POISONING

Use Biflex 10TC by Leads Agri Product for soil poisoning. Termiticide shall be done only by licensed
and certified pesticide applicators. Applicators shall be familiar with all the works involved and shall only
hire skilled familiar with soil and ground treatment. The applicator shall give a guarantee for a minimum
of 2 years.
