Mass Media in future

Mass media plays the most important role in the formation of

human consciousness. Nowadays It gives us a lot of information
and helps to know something.
But it is so interesting how will it look like in 40 years?
Actually there are no predictions about the direction in which
the mass media will move. Someone says that media will
decline or merger with social networks. Others think that it’s
impossible to change the traditional format of sharing
information.
However most of us agree that it is too early to hide traditional
forms of media. The way of transmitting information is
changing but the textual nature remains unchanged. So people as
in the past as now will perceive the information visually.
Therefore, the main task of the media in the future will be
storytelling. Due to the development of technology, media
workers can easily search for information and similarly
consumers will have easy access to it.
For newspapers, in general, there is a possibility that they will
be so important and popular as digital media but for this, the
sphere needs to develop and look for new ways of presenting
information to engage consumers. But who knows, maybe it will
disappear from mass media.
But also, it is possible that the loss of paper media will not be
such a problem, because in connection with technical
development new platforms will emerge and a new audience
will be recruited, so the revenues of the digital media will be
able to offset the disappearance of the paper media.
Also there are those who think that journalist will be always
between information and the consumer. But through the
interference of technology in the media, the journalist is obliged
to know how to use them and be able to apply. It will no longer
simply acquire information - in itself, information can do
nothing today. You need to be able to put it into context and
submit it to as many people as possible.
So in general, the way we live and organize our society will
determine what kind of media we will have. Journalism is a
service that allows a person to find something, express opinion,
make a choice, or tell a story. And while people need it,
journalism remains relevant.
