The Condor

They are located to Andes’ mountain, and in Colombia they are located specifically in the
Peak. The International Union for Conservation of Nature catalogue the Condor like
threatened species, because they suffer loss his habitat and the poisoning for the
ingestion of intoxicated animals or poisoning baits. The Condor is the biggest bird. The
Condor has very low reproduction rate; the condor is expected to lay an egg every two
years. It is one of the longest birds, being able to reach the age of 75 years in captivity. The
condor is a large and monogamous bird, it has only one partner throughout its life. There
are around 400 specimens of Condors in freedom distributed throughout Latin America.
