2020 Cross Country Regional Tournament

Saturday, October 31st

9:00am – Division III Boys 10:00am – Division III Girls


12:00pm – Division II Boys 1:00pm – Division II Girls
3:00pm – Division I Boys 4:00pm – Division I Girls

Course: The course is mostly grass with two pavement crossings. The terrain ranges from flat to gradual
upgrades with one short, but steep hill. Approximately 1,200 meters of the course is wood chipped trail
through a wooded area. ¼ to 3/8 inch spikes are recommended. Course inspections can be done during the
week leading up to the race but must happen after 3:15pm.

Eligibility and Rules: Refer to OHSAA website at http://www.ohsaa.org. The team coach or faculty
representative must accompany your school’s qualifiers. All OHSAA rules and regulations apply to dress,
participation, and conduct.

Recreational Equipment, Pets and Site Regulations: Recreational equipment such as Frisbees,
footballs, etc. will not be permitted at the meet site. No smoking is permitted on school property. PETS ARE
NOT PERMITTED AT REGIONAL SITES!

Pass Gate: Individual Qualifiers (each qualifying competitor = one coach)


Team Qualifiers – 10 Total (7 team members, 1 head coach, 1 asst. coach, 1 alternate)

Available Facilities: Concessions stands serving limited food and drinks (Due to Covid), and indoor
restrooms are on site. Locker room facilities are not available. Come dressed to participate.

Awards: All State Qualifiers will be recognized over the PA system. Awards can be picked up at the Team
Entrance tent as the teams exit the facility.

Parking: All participants and spectators should enter Pickerington North High School facilities from Refugee
Road at the traffic light across from Kroger. Parking is available in the Pickerington North High School and
Lakeview Junior High parking lots. School buses will be directed to park in designated areas on the west side of
the high school adjacent to the competitor check in area.

Admission: $10.00 for all spectators, please inform your parents and fans. There will be no tickets for sale at
the gate. All tickets sales are in advance online and limited to just parents and immediate family members.
Tickets can be purchased at https://ohsaa.org/tickets.

COVID – 19 Rules: Fans, must maintain 6 feet of distancing from other spectators when on school grounds.
Masks are mandatory and must be worn at all times by Coaches, Officials, Meet Workers and spectators.
Runners must wear facial coverings at all times except when in competition and warming up.

There will be no water available for Teams and Coaches. Please bring your own water to the meet.

Multiple exits are at the Finish Corral – runners must exit the Finish Corral as soon as possible after crossing
the finish line.
