To whom it may concern:

This letter is intended to serve as a recommendation on behalf of Sophie Williams. I

have been acquainted with Sophie for over a year. She currently works as a student peer
advisor in the College of Education and Human Development, Academic Advising Office
at BYU-Idaho of which I am employed as a Career and Academic Advising Coordinator.

Sophie has had exceptional vision and self-motivation in her stewardship areas in order to
be successful in life and to be a positive influence to others. Students always feel
comfortable and at ease around her. She is able to establish rapport quickly, which is
essential in advising students. She is often the first point of contact when students come
to our office and helps them feel welcome and heard. The students leave with their
questions answered and spirits uplifted. When conversing with students of diverse
backgrounds, Sophie has proper manners, good etiquette and sound advice.

Listening is a strong asset for Sophie. She takes the time to understand the message
delivered and then proceeds with a professional, knowledgeable, and appropriate
response.

In whatever working environment Sophie will be involved with, rest assured it will be
pleasant, courteous, and enjoyable. She is detail oriented and organized. On several
occasions, she has been asked to lead projects in our office and assisted me personally
with training during our peer advisor meetings and class visits. In fact, she has been in a
peer advisor leadership role more than once and has been remarkable at this position.

Sophie is well liked by her co-workers and peers alike. I have always trusted her
judgment and advising techniques. Her talents and self-discipline will enrich the lives of
others. It is my pleasure to recommend Sophie Williams.

If you have further questions, please feel free to reach out at the email for phone number
