ACTIVITY 1: “Graphic Organizer”

Instructions: Write your explanation on the space provided using the graphic organizer.

Objectives  To hit a shuttlecock across the net and have it land in

of the the designated court areas.
Game  To win of 21 points ,2 sets in a row accumulated by
hitting the shuttlecock across the net into the
opponents court.
Nature and Rules of the Game (Badminton)

- Teams will compete in men singles and women

singles competition and both teams will compete
in a round robin format with divisions. Each
match will be the best of 2 of 3 games up to 21
Team points. The round robin in each divisions will
Composition determine the finishing positions after regular
play. Play offs format will be determined after
final registration and number of entries in the
competition is established. Final positions will be
awarded community points in both singles and
doubles.

- A game of two or four

- Left or right , you cannot randomly choose side
as you wish
- The serve should always be underarm and below

rule of badminton

Game - The net trap if the shuttlecocks hits the net or
touches the net, disqualified the point goes to
your opponent
- Your feet should never touch the white line
bordered around you
- The Landing the shuttlecock which is either
served or hit, should land inside the service court
- 21 steps ahead to win the game of nadminton
