ELECTION CODE

1. The election for the new sets of officers of Student Supreme Governance (SSG) shall be on September
25,2020

2. The official start for the filing candidacy shall be on September 15,2020. The final date of submission
for the filing of the candidacy shall be on September 17,2020

3. The screening and interview of candidates is on September 18,2020 at exactly 12:00nn to 3:00 pm

4. Any applicant/candidate shall have the following qualifications:

a. Must be of good moral character.

b. Must not be under academic probation.

c. Must not occupy two major positions in two or more organizations.

d. No failed grade last semester and have good academic standing.

5 There shall be a total of eight (8) officers to be elected at Senior High School. These are:

(1) President

(1) Vice-President for Internal

(1) Vice-President for External

(1) Secretary

(1) Treasurer

(1) Auditor

(1) Public Relation Officer

(1) Business Manager

6. In case of incumbent officers wishing to run for another item, “no re-election on the same position” rule
shall apply.

7. The final line up of candidates and parties will be posted on September 18, 2020.

8. The campaign period will commence a day after the lineup of candidates was posted by the DSA. The
campaign period will end on the day of Meeting de Avance.

9. The Meeting de Avance shall be held on September 24, 2020. By goggle meet and fb live. The Meeting
de Avance will officially signify the end of campaign period. Guidelines pertaining to the conduct of
Meeting de Avance shall be discussed on a meeting set by the DSA for the same purpose.

10. The election shall be conducted in September 25,2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This shall be
done through goggle form made by the DSA
11. After the election proceedings at 1:00 PM of the Election Day, the goggle
form shall be closed in preparation for the summary of votes.

12. The DSA shall proclaim the winning candidates and new sets of officers based on the candidates
garnered total votes. The candidates with the most votes in every position shall be proclaiming as
winner.

CAMPAIGN RULES

1. Any foul and derogatory words, misconduct, or bad actions that may seem to offend or do harm
to the student body, student organization, the DSA, faculties, school officials, and school itself will be
dealt accordingly and may face disqualifications in their candidacy.

2. Any form of campaign (such as social network sites, text messaging, email, etc.) done prior and
after the scheduled campaign period is prohibited and may face disqualification if proven.
