Peace in Christ!

Singing is one of the many forms of worship, even in celebrating the Holy Mass. We, choir
members, lead the congregation in singing hymns and in actively participating in responses
throughout the mass. Because of this matter, we would also like to know more about the
norms and directives of our service in the mass. To be able to serve better and enhance our
skills, the Sacred Music Ministry will be conducting the following Music Seminars (Series)
to be tackled by well-known speakers and composer :

Date : May 27, 2017, Saturday, 8:30am to 2:00pm

Activity : Music Seminar
Topic: “Liturgical Music vs. Contemporary Music” and the
“Parts of Mass for Choirs”
Venue : Holy Family Parish, Parang, Marikina City
Guest Speaker : Fr. Manoling Francisco, SJ

The above seminars will really help our ministry to develop, grow and be well aware about
our responsibilities and role as a part of the liturgy during the mass. In line with this, we
would like to seek for your generosity to cover the expenses for the stipend, materials to be
used, transportation and food for the guest speakers and participants. Any amount that you
will share will really help us a lot to make this seminar possible. We pray that you will be
