(AE-4 V1 Model)

Gas Alarm Panel

User Guide
The assembly of the AE-4 V1 gas alarm panel should be done according to the connection diagram in
Figure-1.
CONNECTING DETECTORS

Gas alarm detectors with 4-20mA output are connected to the AE-4 V1 gas alarm panel.

It is zoned, four different detectors can be connected. Terminals 3, 7 and 11 on the gas alarm panel

2, 6 and 10 terminals are the (+) supply of detectors. 4, 5, 8

And 9 are the terminals to which the signal end of the detectors is connected.

As shown in Figure-1, the (+) ends of the detectors are connected to the 2, 6 and 10 numbered
terminals.

The (-) ends of the detectors are connected to the terminals numbered 3, 7 and 11. Then 1.

The signal end of the detector to the terminal number 4, the signal end of the second detector to the
terminal number 5 3.

The signal end of the detector is to the connector number 8, the signal end of the 4th detector to the
terminal 9

Is connected.

CONNECTING TANK LEVEL SENSORS

Two tank level (Rochester) sensors to the AE-4 V1 gas alarm panel

While making the connections, as shown in Figure-1, connect the (+) end of the 2nd tank level sensor.
Terminal number 16 of the panel, signal end to terminal 19 (-) terminal number 17

Terminal. 1. (+) end of the tank level sensor is signaled to terminal 16 of the panel

Terminal 18 is connected to (-) terminal number 17.

NOTE: The cable to be drawn between the tank level sensor and the panel should be a shielded cable.

The shield must also be connected to the GND terminal.

AE-4 CONNECTING THE SUPPLY OF V1 GAS ALARM BOARD

AE-4 V1 gas alarm panel works with 230VAC voltage. While making the connections, in Figure-1

As you can see, 230 VAC is connected to the terminal 23 of the panel (N) to the 24 numbered terminal
(L).

Is connected.

AE-4 V1 GAS ALARM PANEL OUTPUT RELAYS CONNECTION

There are 6 dry contact relays in the AE-4 V1 gas alarm panel.

1.tank level sensor low relay

2.tank level sensor high relay

2.tank level sensor low relay

CONNECTION OF GAS ALARM DETECTORS OUTPUT RELAY TO SOLENOID VALVE

This relay gives dry contact output. 30 terminal of the panel is normally closed (NC) of the relay.

Terminal number 31 is the common (COM) end of the relay. Terminal number 32 is the relay’s contact.

It is a normally open (NO) contact. To connect a normally open solenoid valve to this relay, see Figure-1.

As you can see, the phase end of the network to the terminal 31, that is, the common end (COM) of the
relay

Any end of the solenoid valve is connected to the 32-numbered terminal, that is, normally open contact
(NO).

The other end of the solenoid valve is connected to the neutral end of the network.

CONNECTION OF TIME ADJUSTABLE RELAY OF GAS ALARM DETECTORS TO SIREN

This relay gives dry contact output. The time is set between 0 seconds and 100 seconds.

The pulling time of the relay is set. Terminal 27 of the panel is normally closed (NC) of the relay.
Terminal number 28 is the common (COM) end of the relay. Terminal number 29 is the relay’s contact.

It is normally open (NO) contact. To connect a 220V siren to this relay, as shown in Figure-1 28

The phase end of the network is connected to the terminal numbered terminal, that is, the common
end (COM) of the relay.

One end is connected to the terminal 29, that is, normally open contact (NO). The other end of the siren

It is connected to the neutral end of the network.

1. CONNECTION OF THE HIGH RELAY OF THE TANK LEVEL SENSOR TO THE CONTACTOR

This relay gives dry contact output. Terminal 39 of the panel is normally closed (NC) of the relay.

Terminal 40 is the common (COM) end of the relay. Terminal 41 is the relay’s contact.

Normally open (NO) contact. In order to connect a contactor to this relay, as shown in Figure-1, 40

The phase end of the network is connected to the common terminal (COM) of the relay.

One of its ends is connected to the terminal number 41, that is, to the normally open (NO) contact.

The other one from the output end is connected to the neutral end of the grid.

1. CONNECTION OF THE LOW RELAY OF THE TANK LEVEL SENSOR TO THE CONTACTOR

This relay gives dry contact output. Terminal 42 of the panel is normally closed (NC) of the relay.
Terminal 43 is the common (COM) end of the relay. Terminal 44 is the relay’s contact.

Normally open (NO) contact. To connect contactors to this relay, as shown in Figure-1, 43

The phase end of the network is connected to the common terminal (COM) of the relay.

One of its ends is connected to the 44 numbered terminal, that is, to the normally open (NO) contact.

The other from the output end is connected to the neutral end of the grid.

2. CONNECTION OF TANK LEVEL SENSOR HIGH RELAY TO CONTACTOR

This relay gives dry contact output. Terminal 33 of the panel is normally closed (NC) of the relay.

Terminal number 34 is the common (COM) end of the relay.

Normally open (NO) contact. To connect a contactor to this relay, as shown in Figure-1, 34

The phase end of the network is connected to the common terminal (COM) of the relay.

One of its ends is connected to the terminal number 35, that is, to the normally open (NO) contact.

The other from the output end is connected to the neutral end of the grid.

SECOND TANK LEVEL SENSOR CONNECTION OF LOW RELAY TO CONTACTOR

This relay gives dry contact output. The 36 numbered terminal of the relay is normally closed (NC)
Terminal no.37 is the common (COM) end of the relay. Terminal number 38 is the relay’s contact.

Normally open (NO) contact. To connect a contactor to this relay, as shown in Figure-1, 37

The phase end of the network is connected to the common terminal (COM) of the relay.

One of its ends is connected to the 38 connector, that is, to the normally open (NO) contact.

The other one from the output end is connected to the neutral end of the grid.

NOTE: AE-4 V1 gas alarm panel output current of 230VAC 5 Amps through relay contacts

Output elements (solenoid valve, siren, etc.) connected to the panel can exceed 5 Amperes.

If it draws current, do not make a direct connection.
