Two problems and some solutions

There are two problems in a society with a rapidly aging population I really concern about.
First, the aging population will cause new economic challenges to emerge. The population
structure in the working-age will decrease, the occupational structure will change, the
economic burden for the young worker will be higher. Second, the proportion of the elderly is
high, the social welfare costs for the elderly are high, putting pressure on health issues.
One of the most solutions to the problem of the aging population is to increase fertility. The
increase in the birth rate in Viet Nam also makes the population more balanced. And
currently, Viet Nam is actively implementing this solution. Moreover, the aging population in
Viet Nam is putting a heavy burden on the economy so the solution is that women and the
elderly have to participate more in the labor market to reduce this burden.

2. Some consequences of the aging population.

The increase in the global population of aging people will cause a lot of consequences.
There are some reasons why I think so.
First of all, the more older people there are in the population, the more cases of age-
related diseases such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and cancer there will
be. Moreover, the elderly people get, the higher the prevalence of dementia, especially
Alzheimer's disease.
In addition, the aging population will cause new economic challenges to emerge and is
also a major obstacle to the recovery of economic growth. The population structure in the
working-age will decrease, the occupational structure will change, the economic burden
for the young worker will be higher.
Last but not least, the higher the proportion of the elderly, the higher the social welfare
costs for the elderly, putting pressure on health issues.
In short, there are many problems with population aging. I think the government needs to
speed up the process of setting up specific plans, to increase support levels of working
conditions and time, helping workers achieve a balance of work and life.
