Diagnostic Multiple Connector
1 из 5
The car is equipped with numerous self -diagnostic electronic control units.
When diagnostic equipment is connected to these control units, self -diagnostic data can be read (parameters, errors) or active testing can be carried
out.
This vehicle is not fitted with a diagnostic socket for each control unit, but the entire system is managed by the body computer and the single
diagnostic socket is a connector at the actual body computer.
One of the functions of the body computer is to control the operation of all the components in the vehicle, ensuring that they are working perfectly
and memorizing any possible errors and/or malfunctions.
The supply for the body computer M01 is both controlled by the ignition and direct to pin 11 of connector E and pin A of connector C of the junction
unit under the dashboard B02 .
There is a protective fuse F1 for the direct supply located in the engine compartment junction unit B01 .
Connector B for the body computer represents the interface for connecting the external diagnostic equipment (Examiner).
pin 1, for the ABS control unit M50: from pin 7 to pin 16 connector C of the body computer;
pin 3, for the Air Bag control unit M60: from pin 10 connector A to pin 12 connector E of the body computer;
pin 7, for the engine management control unit M10 (for the 1596 16v BIPOWER version, also for the methane injection control unit M19):
from pins 16 connector B (1242 8v), pin 10 connector A (1596 16v), pin 25 connector A of M10 and pin 3 connector A of M19 (BIPOWER),
pin 33 (1910 D), pin 88 connector B (1242 JTD), pin 48 connector B (1910 JTD) to pin 20 connector C of the body computer.
Pin 16 connector B provides a line (+30 battery) protected by fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B02.
Pins 4 and 5 of connector B and 8 and 9 of connector D represent the earth references.
