We can provide you

support in up to 2 hours
of one-on-one or group
tutoring per week, to
learn difficult course
content, including math,
reading, and writing, and
social services worker
course content.
We aim to provide tutors for every social service worker
course, whenever possible, to help you be successful
 Tutors:
• answer questions related to course material
• explain procedures associated with course
• reinforce concepts already taught
• help students with courses in which they are
currently enrolled
• direct students to other college services if
necessary
We can also help you
improve academic skills
like time management,
test/note taking, and
presentation skills
through unlimited
access to our drop-ins
and test preparation
workshops
We also provide self-
serve resources for
students through our
website, such as “The
Learning Portal” a
hub of helpful
resources, interactive
videos, worksheets
and information on
study skills, Stress
Management,
Presentations Skills,
Resilience and more!
