Poverty is only bad, in my opinion, if its due to laziness. However, many times
this is not the case.

Illness, divorce, mental issues, medical bills etc.. The list goes on..

Those who philosophize life, seem to be rich folks.. Empathy comes from
suffering; and poverty qualifies, in my book.. Its not always a choice..

It starts with the belief you grow up with, “this kind of life isn’t for me.”

Or you’re brainwashed into thinking that having something for yourself or

getting yourself into a good place is selfish and a sin and if you want such things
you must be a narcissist or a psycho.

In part that makes poverty in a post-slave economy a pathology.

It is not so easy to start thinking differently, though, the conditioning has been
brutal - by parents or peers or community or culture. Most people just conform
