1. What is safety drill?


A safety drill is a drill that is practiced to prepare people for an emergency. Practice
and perfect a single emergency response. It allows people to have a field experience.
include alarm activation to ensure fire protection and reliability, along with an orderly,
disciplined evacuation, followed by a thorough inspection of the building to
immediately rectify any code related issues. 
2. What are the elements/materials needed in conducting safety drills?
a. Management Commitment and People’s Involvement. The manager or
management team leads the way by setting up the policy, assigning and supporting
responsibility, setting a positive example, and involving employees.
b. Worksite Analysis. The worksite is continually analyzed to identify all existing and
potential hazards.
c. Hazard Prevention and Control. Methods to prevent or control existing or potential
hazards are administered and maintained.
d. Training for Employees, Supervisors, and Managers. Managers, supervisors, and
employees are trained to understand and deal with worksite hazards.

3. Are drills effective in preparing the community for a particular disaster? Justify your answer.
Conducting drills in a community are effective since most of the people might not know
what to do or where to go when a disaster comes. Just like last January 12, not
everyone knew what to do and where to go at that instance.
4. In a drill conducted last February 19, Wednesday, identify malpractice that you have noticed (if
there’s any) from the recent volcanic eruption drill? Give at least three suggestions for
improvement.
1. The students weren’t cooperative, they were just casually walking.

5. How fire drill in schools is conducted? Explain your answer using a diagram.
