Procedure: Check Slewing Bearing Wear

Instructions:

1. Set-up crane level on the Outriggers

2. Telescopic Boom completely retracted
3. Measurements should be conducted with recommended counterweight (see Table1)
4. Use Dial Indicator with1/100 mm increments and a magnetic base
5. With boom @ 75° set indicator to zero, boom down to 5°
6. Read displacement according to the indicator
7. Four measurements taken at intervals of 90° slewing position
8. Document your results
9. Record the operating hours
10. Describe crane configuration

Repeat test conducted by Service Department:

11. Attention: When repeat test are conducted the crane must be configured the same as the
original test for comparison purposes
12. Maximum Wear (increased Bearing Play after base measurement) see Table 2
