Referring to Table 6.7 of MBMA Manual,1996 for Moderate Service Class i.e. "C" and R < 0.5, AISC loading condition
1 is applicable.

Loading condition 1 is limited as Approximately equivalent to two applications everyday for 25 years to 10 application two
applications everyday for 25 years.However in real usage number of application might greater than 10. Hence in the absence
of information on real application Loading condition 2 is followed and it allows Approximately equivalent to 50 application
everyday for 25 years and Moreover allowable stress range for loading condition 2 is less than loading condition 1 as per

The flexural stress range in the bracket base metal must be limited to that allowed in AISC appendix K. Since the bracket is
welded to the column with a transverse weld stress category "C" applies to base metal as defined in Table A-K4.2. Therefore
