Virtual Shopping Trip
Sample Learning Objective:
● Students can read, write, and compare decimals
to thousandths place.
● Students can add and subtract decimals.
Assessment Description:
● Students will create a shopping list based on
chosen scenario (hosting a dinner, weekly grocery
shopping, school supplies, fishing trip, etc.).
Students will then use the internet to compare
prices on at least two different websites.
Students will apply mathematical understanding
to find a grand total for shopping list. Students
will be given budget parameters as well.
