Introdution

 English is thought to be one of the most important languages in the world, One of the reasons is
that English is spoken as the first language in many countries. There are 104 countries
where English is spoken as the first language. But it is the official language of 53 countries and
spoken by around 400 million people across the globe. In this scientific work, I will be
developing about the importance of English language to Psychology.
The importance of English to Psychology

English is the language of science, of aviation, computers, diplomacy, and tourism. Knowing


English increases your chances of understanding well Psychology because many books of
psychology are written in english, so learning English is important not only to psychology but
also for socializing.

Linguistics is a branch of Psychology and mainly studies how human beings understand, produce
and process language. There is also a branch of psychology that studies communication,
including language and non-verbal communication that aims to understand how we communicate
with each other and ourselves and in psychology English is extremely important because it make
easy that process of communication.

English may not be the most spoken language in the world, but it is the official language of 53
countries and spoken by around 400 million people across the globe. Being able to speak English
is not just about being able to communicate with native English speakers, as it is the most
common second language in the world. If you want to speak to many Psychologist from another
country then the chances are that you will both be speaking English to do this.

The British Council projects that by 2020 two billion people in the world will be studying
English. Learning English is important as it enables you to communicate easily with your fellow
global psychologists.

English can facilitate a psychologist to deal with many foreign people , because I know that
wherever you,go you will find at least somebody who speak English.

The field of social psychology has amplified the function of English Language. Most of the
psychological resources, materials and books are in English. The global psychology systems in
the universities around the world have the requirement of English Language. People those who
study in abroad use English language as a medium of communication and learning. The lack of
English knowledge makes anyone insufficient in the realm of education in today’s world.

The other importance is that many psychologists in the world they speak English and do their
research and studies in English language, so if you want to understand those psychology article,
books or journal you have to learn English first that why English is very important to
psychology.

Also English language estabilishes a relation between psychology and other scientific areas such
as communication. If there is a job and they want a psychologist to fill the place English can be a
great advantage.

I believe that English language has a great impact to my course and I also believe that if i learn
English I will become an excellent psychologist because I will have acess to a wide psychologist
world.
