Set T. Tagumpay
According to David Hilbert, Mathematics is a game played according to
certain simple rules with meaningless marks on paper. With this as the basis, the
Math Club facilitated games that would help learners improve their Mathematical
and Logical skills the fun and exciting way.
On November 9, 2018, Jawili Integrated School held the Mathlympics at
Jawili Covered court where contests like Four in a row, Sudoku,Rubiks, Tangram,
Damath, Jenga, Kakuro, and Tower of Hanoi were held.
The event was led by the Math Club officers and their club adviser, Miss
Mary Paz M. Melanio.
The main objective of the event is to expose participants to intellectually
challenging contests in order to stimulate their interest and ignite their passion in
Mathematics.
