To whom it may concern:

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter in support of hiring Amanda Hernandez as
a High school science teacher. Amanda came to my Biology classroom once or twice a week
from 10/5/2018-11/27/2018 for a total of 25 observation hours through the Broward College
Teacher Education Program.

The most impressive aspect of Amanda in my classroom was her positive demeanor with
the students. Instead of being a passive observer, she quickly jumped in to help students with the
various labs and activities we were working on that day. Her enthusiasm and sense of humor led
her to have a strong rapport with the students; after her observation time was over, many students
asked if/when she would be coming back to the classroom.

I also appreciated the fact that she was willing to learn and take notes about ways to teach
and manage students of all levels. Her willingness to learn meant she jumped right in to practice
teaching lessons for multiple classes.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Amanda Hernandez for any teaching position.
If her performance in my classroom is any indication of how she'd perform as a full-time teacher,
she would be a positive addition to any school.
