Project Scope Statement - Mankind Pharmaceuticals

Project Objective An analytical study of the digital efforts


taken by National and Global
Pharmaceutical Companies during the
COVID-19 Pandemic.

Scope-

The scope of this research is to understand the shift in marketing strategies and various
methods adopted by Global and National Pharmaceutical companies during the COVID-19
pandemic. This shift will highlight their digital preparedness and impact on the industry
overall.

Research Methodology -

1. Research Design: The research design constitutes the blueprint of collection,


measurement, and analysis of data. The research design employed for this will be a
descriptive and exploratory research type.
2. Data Collection: The data will be collected through the following sources:
A. Primary Research: Primary data will be collected from Doctors and Pharmaceutical
Marketing/Product managers with the help of structured online questionnaires.
B. Secondary Data: Secondary data will be collected in the following ways:
i. Pieces of literature on the internet
ii. Magazines like Pharma Bizz, Pharma Chronicle, etc
iii. News articles by Economic Times, Brand Equity, Business Standard, Live Mint, etc
iv. Govt of India websites
3. Sampling Technique: The respondents will be selected by a Simple Random Method and
will comprise of Doctors (30-40), Pharma Marketing/Product Managers (20-30)
4. Research Instrument: The data collection will be done with the help of Online Survey
forms using two different sets of structured questionnaires for Doctors and Pharma
Marketing/Product Managers.
5. Data Analysis: Close and Open-ended responses will be studied, analyzed, and tabulated
separately. After systematic analysis, interpretations will be written down. For analysis
following visualization methods will be used: Tabulation, Percentage and Average
Graphs, Pie charts, etc.
