ACCOUNTIBILITIES:

● Handling the light up activities of Boiler, rolling of main Turbine and synchronise Generator with GRID.
● Performing smooth operation (main turbine rolling and taking and cutting mills at various loads).
● Performing smooth rolling and operation of TDBFP (Turbine Driven Boiler Feed Pump) at various load.
● Performing Performance Guarantee (PG) test of various equipment.
● Have run the plant at various emergency conditions (Like tripping of single IDF, single FDF, single PAF, single APH, single
CW Pump, and single TDBFP).
● Smooth operation of Auxiliary Boiler (Start up Boiler) for alkali and acid cleaning of main boiler and also alkali flushing of
turbine side Piping.
● Avoid unit tripping in emergency condition (GRID Island) by CILMS (Co-ordination Islanding Master Control System).
● Maintaining the load according ABT (Availability based tariff) for UI.
● Perform the role of maintenance co-ordinator in annual overhauling.
● Handle the situation like black out, house load, DCS failure and all CW pumps trip.

● Include in projects like minimising DM water consumption, auxiliary power consumption (APC), specific oil consumption
(SOC), specific coal consumption (SCC) and DM water consumption, station heat rate (SHR) which are use in term of cost reduction.

● Handle the SAP & SI system for permits, work orders and measures for all other maintenance works.
