The maps illustrate the developments which will take place in a university’s sports

center.

Overall, a comparison of the two maps reveals that although the core of the place
will be remained untouched, the whole sports center will be turned into a covered
arena.

With regard to the first plan, the entrance is vividly observed in the south where the
reception area is there. Behind this, it can be seen a 25m pool which is surrounded
by a changing room in the west wing, sitting area in the east wing and a gym to the
rare of the pool. Additionally, two outdoor courts are situated either side of the
sports center.

In the future plan, the sport center is expected to become much larger with
significant changes. Firstly, the outdoor courts is planned to be removed and the
gym is going to be expanded. Moreover, there are plans to build some facilities
such as dance studios and a sports hall in the east, along with a café and a sports
shop in the south. Two more changing room will be added to the both side of this
recreational area. Finally, to the west of central pool, a large indoor leisure pool is
set to be built.
