Presite Check - MP-Series ADDIFIELD
Presite Check - MP-Series ADDIFIELD
Pre-Site Checklist
✓ Thank you for purchasing an Addfield incineration/cremation machine. To ensure we can deliver on site
commissioning and training in an effective and timely manner please ensure the following is ticked prior to the
machine’s delivery.
FUNDAMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Electrical Supply
Power is received via a three meter power cord supplied with a standard three pin
euro plug (shown right), a socket will need to be provide within this distance. Please
state if you wish for a longer length. The power required to run such a system will be
220-240v, single phase, 50-60Hz, 13-16AMP.
Generator information:
If you wish, the machine can be run from a 12Kva generator. Please ensure the
generator’s maximum run time is longer than that of an incinerator burn cycle
duration.
Please ensure your have adequate lifting equipment to unload the machine
(Please refer to the machine weight in the datasheet)
As standard only one engineer is sent to site. It is essential in terms of health and safety that another able-
bodied individual is present to assist with installation. If extra support is required please contact us.
Machine Positioning
For internal installation the following minimum clearances should be observed:
500mm around the machine for access
1500mm from the front for loading
500mm from the top of the after chamber to ceiling
Chimney Stacks
On the day commissioning is commencing, please ensure a competent labourer is available to cut a hole in the
roof (preferably a roofer) suitable for the diameter of the chimney. A roof flashing sleeve should have a 50mm
gap all the way round the flue with a storm collar to make it water tight and readymade to install on the day
of commissioning. Speak to your roofer regarding this.
We recommend the chimney stack clears the highest point of a roof and any adjacent buildings by at least
500mm and is not in the vicinity by trees/power lines. The flue should be 500mm minimum from any
combustible materials.
Additional chimney section lengths can be provided if required, please ask. These sections are supplied in
1200mm lengths. High exterior chimney stacks 3.4 meters plus should be braced to an adjacent wall or to the
machine. Please let Addfield know if this is the case.
Please refer to the datasheet of your specific machine to confirm the chimney stack height and if any extensions
are required.
A crane is typically required for installation of a high chimney stack. Please ensure the correct lifting equipment is
in place.
If yes and not yet purchased please contact Addfield. Additional chimney sections will require further access
to erect on site, such as scaffolding or a cherry picker.
Ventilation
An enclosed building should be fitted with a 300mm x 300mm louvre for ventilation.
Diesel Powered Machines: (skip if not applicable)
Only if addfield are also supplying the fuel tank will these fittings be supplied.
Fuel Tank
According to UK/EU legislation the fuel tank should be located 3m away or closer if positioned
behind a fire wall. We would recommend a 500-3000 litre fuel tank depending on the size of the machine.
It is good practice to put the tank on a level hard base (concrete slab.)
The fuel pipe run to the fuel tank should not exceed 20m distance across level ground. Any inclines should be
mitigated by elevating the fuel tank. Pipework bending to should be kept to a minimum.
Fuel Supply
Ensure that the fuel tank is full prior to the engineer’s arrival.
Gas Supply
Ensure that the gas is being supplied prior to the engineer’s arrival.
LPG Tanks
Separation distances for LPG Fuel tanks are:
Up to 1000kg 3 metres
Up to 3000kg 5 metres
Up to 5000kg 7 metres
Up to 7000kg 8 metres
Are the above fuel considerations complete?

***Please return this document along with site pictures of the machine***
Pictures are really important to ascertain the machines current status, the site setup and if anything
has been lost/damaged during transport.
