1- Walls

1.1 Product:
Sikatop® Seal 107 or Sikatop® 121: 2-components ready-to-mix polymer
mortar.

1.2 Application:

Mix Sikatop® Seal 107 or Sikatop® 121 to a trowelable consistency and

apply a first coat as levelling course to a saturated substrate. Cure for 4-8
hours.
Following the curing of the first coat, apply a second coat using a trowel
and finishing by rubbing down with a soft, dry sponge if necessary.
Material consumption rate: approx. 4.0 kg/m2 for two coats
Layer thickness approx. 2.0 mm for 2 coats.

2- Floor screed

2.1 Products:
Sika Latex: Synthetic rubber emulsion used as a cement mortar admixture
where good adhesion and water resistance is required.
Antisol S: Curing compound – Helps concrete to achieve maximum
hydration
Sikafloor Curehard 24: liquid floor hardener. For sealing concrete surface
and dustproofing
Sikafloor 3 Quartztop: Mineral dry shake floor hardener. To improve
concrete surface resistance to abrasion and impact.

2.2 Application:

Bonding slurry:
Mix 1 L of Sika Latex + 1L of water + 4 kg of cement. Brush evenly
this bonding agent onto concrete substrate. Whilst it is still tacky apply Sika
Latex mortar as follows.
Material consumption rate: approx. 0.25 L/m2

Mortar:
Mortar screed will be done using cement mortar comprising of 1 part of
cement and 3 part of clean coarse sand (by weight) and 1 part of water to 3
part of Sika Latex to provide a even surface with minimum thickness of 15
mm and maximum thickness per layer of application 40 mm; otherwise do it
layer by layer.
Material consumption rate: approx. 0.04 L/m2/mm thick

Finishing
The Sika Latex waterproofing mortar will be preferably finished by power
float machine. If power floating of the surface is not possible, then the surface
should be thoroughly worked with steel trowels.
In case of application of dry shake floor hardener, please refer to our Method
Statement for application of Sikafloor® 3 Quartztop (Chapdur®)
On completion of finishing the Sika Latex mortar, the surface should
immediately be sprayed with Antisol S (Curing compound) or Sikafloor
Curehard 24 (Liquid floor hardener).
Material consumption rate: approx. 0.2 L/m2
