Comparisons

- Not as… as: He isn’t as fast as his brother.
- Far + Comparative… than: This is far more interesting than I
thought.
- A lot + Comparative …. than
- Slightly + Comparative …. than: This is slightly less interesting.
- A little + Comparative… than: This a little more complicated than I
thought.
- Rather + Comparative …. than: This is rather more complicated
than I thought.
- Almost as …. as: This is almost as expensive as a Nike shirt.
- Not quite as …. as: This is not quite as expensive as….
- Not nearly as …. as: This is not nearly as expensive as…

Negative prefixes
