“Zero” article:

- Lakes (Lake Ontario), cities (Paris, London), countries (Germany, Romania)

- The United States, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom
- Abstract nouns: I need more time. I loved your advice. (uncountable nouns)
- Plural nouns, when speaking about them in general: I love cats/ dogs. I enjoy long walks in the
garden.
