Not to leave you men completely out, I can also make lanyards, which can be worn to
display your name badge. They will have a more random placement of beads; and in place
of the pendant, there is a lanyard holder with a plastic strip that snaps around the bottom
of the string of beads, with the metal clip attaching to your badge. I currently don’t
happen to have any available, but they are easy to put together. Note: I did NOT make the
sample shown, which is definitely designed for a female; but it gives you an idea of what
one would look like. Mine would be more masculine, with more variety of beads, using the
clip pictured below. By the way, I have also had women order lanyards for their badges.

Lanyards can be made available for a $50 donation.

Last year, we discovered (the hard way) that there were certain necklaces which appealed to numerous people,
all asking to purchase the same one. Being one of a kind, the decision as to who gets the necklace has to be on
a “first come, first served” basis. However, in order to avoid that situation, I have discovered that (while you
cannot make changes to my Power Point,) it does allow you to strike through the title (by highlighting the title
and choosing “Strikeout text,” which will let others know that this necklace is no longer available. (This should
save a lot of confusion…and perhaps some heartache.) (*Unfortunately, my husband just informed me that
others will only see the strike-out if they are downing loading this after the strikeout was made; so this may not
work as I had hoped.) You can then contact me about “purchasing” that particular necklace, using the number
listed on the slide as reference.

I do have duplicates of some pendants available; so if a particular necklace you like has already been sold and a
pendant is available, I can make another one; however, please be aware that the necklace arrangement and
beads will be different from the original.

I have also made custom necklaces, where I can use a family heirloom such as a locket or a special piece of
jewelry (even some larger earrings) as a pendant. I can also use beads from a piece of jewelry you no longer
wear but has special meaning to you.

If something like that is of interest to you, please feel free to contact me.

Thanking you in advance, Mary

Payment: $50 donation for each necklace
• I am sorry, but I do not currently have the capability of accepting credit
card payments.
• My preference is to be paid by check. Checks should be made out to
“Mary Gadeken”, with Polio Plus written in the memo line.
• Shipping costs of $4 per necklace are separate. However, it is actually
more economical to mail several necklaces together. Therefore, if
numerous members of your club would also like to place an order, I can
combine them all into one flat rate package, mailing to a single address,
which will save a lot of money on postage. (Cost can be split among those
who’ve ordered.) However, if your preference is to receive your own
package, I will gladly do that, as well.
My mailing address: 4821 W. 24th Place
