THE BEST KIND OF LOVE FOR ME

Love must be composed of intimacy, passion and commitment. Without these three
components your relationship will fail. Each of these components has its own role when loving.
The intimacy refers to closeness or connectedness in loving relationships. Passion may also
refer to the drives that lead to romance, physical attraction and related phenomena in loving
relationships. While the commitment refers to the decision that staying to that person no matter
what happens. Different combinations of these three components result in a different types of
love. For example, combination of intimacy and commitment gives compassionate love, while
combination of passion and intimacy leads to passionate love. But combination of intimacy,
passion and intimacy leads to passionate love. This type of love is strongest but very rare.
Sometimes in relationship and marriage the ability to find the right partner does not guarantee
this consummate type of love, but making yourself the right partner paves way for this most
anticipated love.

Love is not just a simple word. It has a deeper meaning that everyone should know. To
love is a simple choice, but not easy to do, because the ego in us doesn’t value doing that. How
we love and what we called love sometimes determines what we get from our relationships.
Love is based on more than physical attraction; sure attraction is a factor, but love goes deeper
than that. Love is based on caring, friendship, commitment and trust. When you are in love it is
as if you have your best most trusted friend at your side. Love is a shared feeling between two
people who have vested interest in one another’s happiness. Cultivating love is more rewarding
than cultivating beauty. Because when inner beauties become the reason of attraction to
someone, we see ourselves falling in true love, remaining in true love and perhaps experiencing
consummated love. When lovable (inner) qualities of a person become the reason of falling in
love, it presents us with an opportunity to grow old in love with the person if eventually ends up
in marriage. Love is the greatest gift we can give to others and to ourselves.
