1. Why do we need Equitable Remedies? Are they always available?
2. William is delighted that his daughter, Angela, plans to qualify as a lawyer
rather than enter the family waste management business. To celebrate Angela passing her law exams, William wants to present her with two surprise gifts on her graduation day. He has contracted with Ludwig, a successful music memorabilia dealer, for the purchase of a guitar used by her favourite musician, John Lynon. He has also commissioned Virgil Blake, a well known poet, to compose three poems celebrating Angela’s success.
Three weeks before Angela is due to graduate, William is contacted by Ludwig
who informs him that he no longer wants to sell the guitar to William. Virgil informs William that he is suffering from writers’ block and is unable to complete any of the three poems commissioned.
