made so much easier for us!
COMMUNICATION
Then:
In the past, people used to communicate via hand written letters. This form of communication
gave people an alternative way to communicate, than hand written letter delivered by horse
(especially when it was long distance). Then in the 1800s major changes came our way. The
telephone and radio were invented.
Now:
High-speed technology has changed the way people communicate, as the phone itself often
draws more attention to itself than any other physical presence. Mobile devices have done more
than change the way people communicate. Besides there are many discovered that can help us
to communicate even if it is long distance, example is computers, laptops and other way to
communicate today.
TRANSPORTATION
Then:
The transportation before is via kalesa (also known as carromata, caritela or karitela) and other
people is using carabao to go to their destination.
Now:
Technology enables people to work from home by making use of the internet, email and the
telephone. This helps to manage traffic congestion as it reduces the number of drivers on the
roads and public transport passengers during peak hours. Now they use a bike, tricycle, car,
van, and other vehicle to use.
ENTERTAINMENT
Then:
They listen to the am/fm radio 24/7, they read books and magazines, socialize with the people,
they also go to the beach and park.
Now:
They playing cards, watching television and going to the mall. Also the most of teenagers today
is always playing mobile games and always focused in their social media accounts, etc.
