Knights of Columbus and Ladies Auxiliary A Chaplet For The Soul
Leader: In'the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. All: Amen.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth; and in Jesus Christ, His
only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered
under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; and on the
third day, He rose from the dead; He ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the
Father Almighty; from thence, He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the
Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the Communion of Saints, the Forgiveness of sins, the
resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

LET US PRAY
o God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, grant unto the souls of Thy servants
departed the remission of all their sins; that, by pious supplication, they may obtain the pardon
which they have always desired. Grant this, 0 God, who lives and reigns forever and ever.

o Eternal God, who besides the general precept of charity, has commanded a particular respect
to parents, kindred and benefactors, grant, we beseech Thee that, as they were the instruments
by which Thy providence bestowed on us our birth, education, and innumerable other blessings,
so our prayers may be the means to obtain for them a speedy release from their excessive
sufferings, and free admittance to Thy infinite joys, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
o Lord Jesus, whose rfch and unforgettable life was lived in the faith that the love which
surrounds us is as real and dependable as that of a father, let the same sense of trust and hope
steady us at this time.
Let not grief overwhelm us, or a sense of loss embitter us, but in the hour of our sadness, let
there arise a new joy for so much given to us. Help us to see that what we love becomes a part
of us, interfused with our lives, blended with mind and memory, hollowed forever within our
soul. Let not grief take away our hope or bereavement blind us to what always remains good
and lovely and indestructible.
a gracious spirit of peace, come alive within our experience and hurt, within our sorrows and
isolation, within the sadness of today and loneliness of tomorrow, come alive as the peace and
trust which nothing life or death can kill. Cast out our fears and let not our hearts be troubled,
knowing that this world remains our Father's house. These our prayers, we offer for the soul of
____ through Christ our Lord. Amen.
You shall cross the barren desert, but you shall not die of thirst.
You shall wander far in safety, though you do not know the way.
You shall speak your words in foreign lands and all will understand,
You shall see the face of God and live.
Be not afraid, I go before you a/ways, Come follow me and I will give you rest.
If you pass through raging waters in the sea, you shall not drown.
If you walk amid the burning flames, you shall not be harmed,
If you stand before the power of hell and death is at your side,
Know that I am with you through it all.
Be not afraid, I go before you a/ways, Come follow me and I will give you rest.
His love is flowing like a river, flowing out of you and me.
! Flowing out into the desert, setting all the captives free.
Leader: In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. All: Amen.
