Should academic achievement be a primary consideration for college admission?

College is the second step in the journey of students’ life after they finish their first step of high
school life. There are many ways to be the primary consideration for college admission. Some student
thinks that academic achievement can be a primary consideration for college admission; while some
student thinks it can’t be a primary consideration for college admission.

Academic achievement is refers to the level of schooling that student have to successfully
completed and the ability to attain success in their studies. As we know, the different between high school
and college. In college we can choose a major that we love or relate to our ability, but in high school we
study many subject that is not relate to our talent, so academic achievement can’t be a primary
consideration for college admission because they are not the same. For example, my friend he doesn’t do
well in high school, but after him Start College everything has been change, he get a GPA because in
college he can choose his favourite to study.

In my opinion, academic achievement can’t be a primary consideration for college admission

because when colleges are looking for the students they are looking for the future. This means that just
because some student is smart does not mean they will be successful in college. There are many skills
which can be show through programs outside of school to show the capability of students.

In conclusion, academic achievement should not be seen as a primary consideration when

deciding whether a person should be admitted to a college or not. There are several reasons to that, such
as college is different from high school, student can choose their favourite major. (284 words)

Life-long learning is no longer required for career success

Success is the achievement of something that people have been trying to do. To be a success
person, people think that they need to have high knowledge, lot of experience, inspiration,
motivation and training. In fact, there are many things are required for career success; not only life-
long learning is required for career success.

People who are busy learning all the time tend to miss opportunities that present themselves.
Opportunities are available to those who seek them, and life-long learning prevents people from
recognizing these opportunities, and they miss out on the chance to build their career. Training a lot
also can lead us to way of success, learning without training it seem like we’re blind because we
have only knowledge, but we never use it.

Life-long learning was no longer required for success since people noticed that they waste
their time on it, and they have no time to get experience from work. While some people think that
life-long learning is required for career success, I think that life-long learning is no longer required
for career success. For example, one guy that I know who is the outstanding student and he spend
almost his life to study, but he get nothing from that because he doesn’t has any experience of
work, so he become jobless guy.

On the other hand, life-long learning is also a part that required for career success because it
helps us to get more knowledge, improve our thinking ability. As we know one phrase, work smart
is better than work hard.

It is true that long-life learning can give us more knowledge, but its waste a lot of time to
training our external ability. People who choose to do life-long learning they will miss their
opportunity and have no experience to work. However, we should keep learning but we need to
share some time to experiences a job like internship job or any job. (319 words)
