Executive Summary

After analyzing the data from the local agency, it can be seen that the majority of the

respondents were students from Winona who are mostly Freshman and Juniors majoring in

Communication Studies. The majority of students are 18-19 years old, female, and white. Most

students in this study seem to have an interest in ethics courses as the majority have taken 3

courses in their time at college. This may be due to most students being involved in the

communications department and having a desire for more ethical content in class. The reason

most students from the communication department are taking these classes may be due to the

students in these majors having more requirements for ethics-based courses.
