Explain at least two things you learned from this pandemic. How does it affect you?

Pandemic changed life. How our daily routines became dull, social interactions became less and
how essential things vital to life became something that is hard to grasp. Staying at home became a
reflection to a person struggling on those changes.
Life is a lesson, it will always be. Pandemic serves as a catalyst to bring into light the lesson we
never realize before. For a mere teenager like me, I've come to understand that I should focus on
something important to me. And that is family. Family is part who we are. Starting from a newborn, into
a toddler, running around, towards a child, learning things, through a teenager, who messed around and
enjoy life. Growing up seems about ourselves entirely that we forgot we have a family to lean on.
Pandemic gave way to get closer to your family. To stick together in times of crisis. To get to know each
other deeper than the way we've been in the past years. They became my stronghold, a place where I
feel secured and protected. The vital thing to do during this pandemic is to stay at home. And home is
my family.
Another thing that I've learned is to be productive. Pandemic is not an excuse to slack off. It is
more of a motivation to start something. And the very first step of becoming productive is by taking care
of ourselves. It's simple thing but we always underestimate it. I became indulge in studying and social
interactions with friends. Added with stress in academics. Due to that, I overlooked myself. I've come to
realize that I should take care of myself, physically, mentally and spiritually. By putting myself first,
actually makes me happy. It will help me understand myself. To decide better by myself. To improve in
things I lack. To acknowledge every small things I have. Pandemic allotted a place in my heart for myself.
To free myself in sadness and be grateful. Productivity will come next, doing things that you love and
things that will keep yourself busy. As for me, I do paintings and study math.
