Thesis: Differences between vacationing abroad and vacationing in Colombia

Vacationing in Colombia Is better than other countries, we can find 3 advantages from economical,
cultural to entertainment.

I. Prices.
A. The prices in Colombia are so cheap due to the exchange rate.
1. Usually you buy one can of soda with $1 but in Colombia you can buy
more than one can.
2. In Colombia all the prices are tax included, then the price you see, the
price you pay.
B. Due to the cheap bus tickets cost, you can travel from less than $30 to any place.
1. The routes in Colombia are so hard but it doesn’t means a higher price.
a. For example, when you traveling to Boyacá, what have many
mountains, are similar prices as when you traveling to Villavicencio,
what is in the plains.

II. Cultural exp

A. First of cultural experience
The cultural experience in Colombia is a special experience because of the joint of the European, African
and indigenous roots, this keeps its culture unique.

1.In Colombia exist a big number of parties and festivals like the Barranquilla
Carnival, Vallenato Carnival, Cali fair, etc.
2. The dance in Colombia is unique because of the different rythms that exist like
the salsa, vallenato, joropo, etc.

III. Entertainment
A. First of entertainment
The entertainment when vacationing in Colombia is different from other countries. The joy that
characterizes Colombians, their kindness and their particular way of dancing make their tourist
destinations very attractive and enjoy world-renowned festivities.
