 ELIGIBILITY

Apply only to scholarships you are eligible for.

Commonly, students eligible for a scholarship(s) must be:
• graduating their high school;
• intending to continue their education at business school, college or university.
Consideration is given to those who have registered and attended QS fair(s).

SCHOLARSHIPS APPLICATION PROCESS

Check your eligibility and begin your application. The following images are the simple steps to
your scholarship application process:

1. Click on ‘’Complete the applicant survey to apply!’’

2. Fill in the applicant survey
3. Click on the links of the scholarship(s) you are interested in

4. Fill in your personal details

Note: the email address provided will be the one used by QS Scholarships Scheme or Business
School/University to get in touch with you regarding your scholarship application
5. Cross check the deadline, read the essay topic and prepare your essay
Note: When you apply for a scholarship, the scholarships teams are going to look for these two
criteria in your essay when shortlisting candidates:
20% overall presentation and format of the essay -> Include your name, essay topic and QS
fair you have attended (example QS World Grad School Tour- London- 2017). These words
will not count towards the essay’s word limit.
80 % relevance and quality of the content -> Upload only relevant to the topic essays.
CV/ Resume, Statement of Purpose and/ or Motivation Letter will NOT be evaluated.

QS encourage candidates coming from diverse backgrounds, to apply for our scholarships,
regardless of the country of origin or the business school or university they have been admitted
to.

6. Upload your essay

Note: Applications to more than one scholarships are accepted, if the relevant essay for each
scholarship has been submitted. You can apply for both QS Leadership and QS Academic
Excellence Scholarships but need to upload the relevant essays. Bear in mind, if you have
attended QS World Grad School Tour event you can NOT apply for MBA scholarships, and vice-
versa.
7. Essay submission notification message
Note: If you see the message below, your application has been successfully submitted and it
is stored in our system. There is no reference number, confirmation email sent after this
message.

 AFTER DEADLINE

QS Scholarships:
• QS Scholarship finalists will be contacted by QS Scholarships Scheme Team 2-3 weeks
after the scholarship’s deadline
• The winners will be announced on QS websites. If you do not hear personally from us,
it is unlikely that you have been selected as the winner of a QS scholarship
Due to the high volume of applications the QS Scholarships Scheme Team cannot provide
application feedback to all enquiries

Partners Scholarships:
• Business schools and universities providing scholarships in partnership with QS are fully
responsible for the evaluation of their scholarship applications and the identification of
winner(s)
• Scholarships winners awarded by partners are contacted by the business school/
university directly. QS Scholarship Scheme Team, however, might get in contact with
the winners to coordinate an interview, which might be used on our websites or
publications.
