a. Demonstrate working knowledge in the areas of financial accounting and reporting, cost
accounting and management, management accounting, auditing, accounting information systems
and accounting research.
b. Identify the needs of the various users of accounting information and communicate such
information effectively and efficiently, provide sound and informed recommendations through
written, oral and the use of technology.
c. Demonstrate the values of commitment while observing quality, timeliness, continuous
improvement and enhanced self-directed professional skills through continuous education and
professional development.
d. Apply the critical and logical problem-solving and decision making skills in the areas of operations,
finance and investments as applied in personal and business finance.
e. Act professionally and ethically as professional accountants in the discharge of their duties and
responsibilities with due respect for diversity.
f. Recognize the need for and engage in planning self-learning and improving performance as a
foundation for continuing professional development
g. Prepare, analyze, and evaluate business reports, proposals, and concept papers in accordance
with the legal and ethical standards and accounting practices.
h. Appraise ethical problems / issues in practical business and accounting situations and
recommend appropriate course of action that adheres to the professional code of ethics.
i. Apply acquired knowledge and skills to pass professional licensure/certification examinations.
